Brunner Fabrication, a trucking and metal fabrication company in Joplin, MO, enhanced its range of manufacturing capabilities with the addition of a new eX-S Series laser from MC Machinery Systems. The eX-S Series laser is the latest offering in Mitsubishi Laser’s EX Series of 2D CO2 laser machines.

Founded in 1986, Brunner Fabrication produces innovative, premium accessories for truck drivers. They’ll take on any project, standard to customized, or even full-custom projects. They also are known to use their welding skills for general metal fabrication projects for a variety of companies, constructing “all things metal.”

“We construct custom metal projects flavored with innovative craftsmanship for companies of all sizes,” says Greg Spencer, Partner at Brunner Fabrication. “Our clients range from small businesses all the way up to Fortune 500 companies. And we are proud to say that all of our products are 100 percent made in the U.S.”

The team at Brunner was interested in picking up more general fabrication business, but needed to expand their machine lineup to do so. After looking through several options, they settled on the eX-S Series from MC Machinery.

“We ultimately chose Mitsubishi based on the manufacturer's claims of lower operating costs, along with the fact that it’s a state-of-the-art machine,” says Spencer. “To date, the laser has proven to be everything promised to us and more. The difference between our old unit and the new Mitsubishi eX-S is night and day, and we could not be more pleased," says Spencer.

The new eX-S is the first MC Machinery Systems machine owned by Brunner.

“The eX-S Series is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding users in today’s competitive manufacturing environment,” says Bill Isaac, VP of Laser Cutting Technology at MC Machinery Systems. “The faster movement and more powerful piercing, along with an ECO mode option, provide even lower running costs at an entry-level price point. If you’re looking into buying your first laser cutting tool, the eX-S Series is a great option.”
