MC Machinery's Remote 360 on Forefront of Digital Manufacturing Movement

November 20, 2015 3:29:11 PM

While many fabrication machinery suppliers released software that connects what's happening on the shop floor to the computers, tablets and phones of operators and owners alike, our Remote 360 was being demonstrated for the second year at FABTECH.

We're ahead of the curve.

We've already had the chance to hear from users about their experiences and we're working dilligently to make the software better all the time. In fact, a brand new edition of the laser monitoring software will be released in the near future. In the meantime, here's a look at all the amazing capabilities the current addition offers.

Remote 360 provides owners and operators with real-time data on mobile and desktop devices. The powerful tool enables laser cutting operations to increase productivity and efficiency while at the same time preventing disruptions and even service issues.

IMPROVE PROCESS EFFICIENCY AND REDUCE DOWNTIME

The Machine Monitoring module tracks and trends run, stop and idle time to shed light on process-improvement opportunities.

MAXIMIZE STAFF RESOURCES

Laser cutting jobs can take time. Live viewing of machine state, status, production performance graphing and much more on mobile devices and desktops make it easier for operators to move around the facility and multitask and reply to alerts quickly.

PREVENT DISRUPTIONS

Built-in Remote Diagnostics and Fault Monitoring notifies us if the machine is having issues. We can notify the site what’s happening and help fix the problem using feedback direct from the machine or schedule a service visit.

REDUCE ONSITE SERVICE VISITS

Using a remote support module, our service team can diagnose disruptions. With the press of a button, you can grant our technicians the ability to view all the screens, change parameters, upload/download program and material files, etc.

Current machines supporting Remote 360 are the NX Series, NX-F Series, RX Series, eX Series and XL Series. Machines that will support the system soon include the LVPlus Series (with Windows XP) and the LVPlusII Series.
