MC Machinery Affirms Support of Employees Serving in Guard and Reserve

Illinois Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense (DoD) office, announced Anthony Imbrogno (VP – Customer Service and Support), Lou Clifford (VP – Logistics), and William Isaac (VP – Sales and Marketing) with Mitsubishi EDM/Laser signed a Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve this month at their corporate office located in Wood Dale, Illinois.

The Statement of Support confirms that MITSUBISHI EDM/LASER joins other employers in pledging:

  • To fully recognize, honor and enforce the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act (USERRA).
  • Managers and supervisors will have the tools they need to effectively manage employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve.
  • To appreciate the values, leadership and unique skills service members bring to the workforce and will encourage opportunities to hire Guardsmen, Reservists and Veterans.
  • To recognize and support our country’s service members and their families in peace, in crises and in war.

“It’s truly our honor to sign a statement of support for the men and women that continue to insure the freedoms that we enjoy daily, all of us here at Mitsubishi EDM/Laser are very proud to a part of this historic day at our company, look forward in working with our Guardsmen, Reservists and Veterans ” stated Anthony Imbrogno, Vice President of customer service and support.

After the signing of the Statements of Support, Mitsubishi EDM/Laser staff was totally surprised when Illinois Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense (DoD) office, announced that David Kloos of Mitsubishi EDM/Laser was honored with a Patriot Award in recognition of extraordinary support of his employee serving in the Guard and Reserve.

“The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees who like the citizen warriors before them have answered their nation’s call to serve,” said Frank Amaro, Illinois ESGR . “Kloos was nominated for being highly supportive of the Reserve Service by his Reserve Component employee, Staff Sargent Michael Koch, (Army 814th Military Police Company). Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units.”
