Canadian Fabricating & Welding Magazine published an article in which Chris Jarrell, our technical products coordinator for business systems, discusses how MC Machinery’s remote360 machine monitoring application minimizes production downtime and increases productivity.

remote360 is designed to provide transparency to machining processes. Our exclusive web-based application provides real-time data and is available on EDM and laser machines.

The Q&A article, written by the editor Sue Roberts, highlights the benefits and service the application provides. When asked what manufacturers want—and need—to improve productivity, Chris responds saying, “Manufacturers want their machines to notify them not just if something fails, but if something begins to perform at a less-than-optimum level. We’re getting close to that point with the remote360 that communicates directly with machines and then with humans via the internet of things.”
