National Sales Manager – Machining Division

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Summary:

  • Responsible for the efficient promotion and profitable sale of all MACHINING Division products.

    Includes: Vertical Machining Centers, Horizontal Turning Centers, 5 Axis Machining Centers, Automation and Special Turnkey Projects

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop sales plans to maximize profit, increase sales volume throughout the US.

  • Continually assess market conditions with regard to pricing, and competitive action and policies.

  • Assist management in making adjustments to territories and dealer choices

  • Design and review marketing strategies, proposals, presentations and sales tools

  • Business Travel Required

  • Maintain proper records, submit reports to management.

  • Participate in management meetings to share information and insights from the field.

  • Adhere to establish company policies with respect to pricing, obtaining signed sales orders and all required information, trade-ins, demonstrations and test cuts, loaners/rentals purchase options and expenses.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Co-Manage Regional Managers and Applications Team  

EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing or related field preferred or 2 years minimum experience in machine tool sales.  Microsoft office word, excel and power point.
