Marketing Coordinator

Elk Grove Village, IL

The Marketing Coordinator will work within the marketing department of MC Machinery Systems, Inc. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager and will be involved in every area of marketing and advertising. The Coordinator must have good insight to a strategic marketing approach and will be responsible for interacting with customers, dealers and other department group leaders. This position will require an understanding on how to leverage Social media into our marketing plan, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. This person will also be involved in coordination of tradeshow planning and execution.



  • Executing various marketing projects as appointed by the marketing manager.
  • Designing, writing and managing the company’s internal newsletter.
  • Working with outside advertising agency on marketing direction for project work, strategy and research.
  • Manage mobile app.
  • Being an integral part of online management of company web site and social web outlets.
  • Managing company’s ad production schedule.
  • Responsibility for managing web content on company web site and help solidify the company’s overall internet marketing strategy. 
  • Assist in managing tradeshow and private events.
  • Coordinating customer projects.
  • Maintaining dealer portal.
  • Coordinating regional marketing activities with our dealers and sales staff.
  • Working with internal divisions of MC Machinery Systems to help support marketing objectives.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Adobe products including In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat are a plus.
  • Previous experience utilizing social media sites for business purposes a plus.
  • Proficiency in database sourcing, management.
  • Direct mail experience a plus.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Travel required up to 50% of the time.


  • Bachelors in Marketing preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ direct marketing experience ideal, but will consider internship experience in lieu of.
