MC Machinery Systems Inc., a company of Mitsubishi Corporation which employs over 50,000 people around the world, is searching for a Sales Manager Services. This individual will work out of our Wood Dale, Illinois headquarters.
MC Machinery’s Pre-sales, Sales and Installation staff develops innovative solutions from the ground up. They can complement an existing operation with new hardware, software and processes to eliminate bottlenecks, improve accuracy and drive throughput. Our Applications group offers consultative support for new and existing customers while our regionalized Service Network is the most advanced and responsive team in the industry.

The Sales Manager Services is responsible for new revenue growth of new expert services projects opportunities nationwide.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing our Service contracts strategy, spanning awareness creation and demand generation efforts. In addition to developing the strategy, you will be responsible for executing Service plans campaigns and for managing and optimizing the results and key metrics along the way. In order to achieve this in the fast-paced environment, you will need to rely on your ability to prioritize objectives, problem solve, and exercise leadership across cross-functional teams.


  • Meet professional services revenue and profit quotas

  • Provide support, both tactical and strategic, in achieving services/parts sales

  •  Create and promote presales packaged service offerings and knowledge sharing

  • Develop and maintains relationships with channel partners

  • Interact with regional managers, Field Service Technicians, Sales Staff & Management, Support, Product Management and Senior Management.

  • Coordination with Regional License management and Consulting management

  • Define the Marketing growth strategy for Service contracts in the machine tool industry

  • Create a marketing narrative (including value proposition, key messages, and voice) that deeply resonates with Services leaders and implement this within your campaigns.

  • Develop the Services campaign calendar and integrated marketing plan, and execute campaigns to drive new sales pipeline. Campaign types include (but are not limited to) live webinars, content, events and trade shows.

  • Identify, produce (if needed), and leverage compelling content that will increase awareness and generate leads.

  • Partner with our marketing team to optimize our and amplify our message and campaigns.

  • Lead cross-functional teams that address important strategic questions for the business – you will help frame the problem, identify the solution and operationalize its execution

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Development and Sales teams to ensure lead flow is appropriately and efficiently handled

  • Partner with Business Operations and Marketing Operations to drive meaningful reporting about lead generation and subsequent conversion.

Job Requirements


  • Develop Services business nationwide.

  • Execute $50 million in service/parts related contracts

  • 50% + Travel


  • 5-10 years of consulting and consulting management experience at the Region/ District level

  • 7+ years of experience in sales roles connected to demand generation and awareness creation in the Services industry with demonstrated results.

  • Prior experience in selling services/parts to the manufacturing industry a strong plus.

  • Ability to excel in a team environment

  • Demonstrated creative problem solving ability

  • Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills

  •  Understanding of core Business and customer base.


An Associates degree is required, BA/BS or MBA preferred.
