MC Machinery’s booth at FABTECH 2023 welcomed more than 6,000 visitors who watched machine demos, talked with laser, press brake and automation experts, registered for a raffle, received free t-shirts and other items, and enjoyed socializing at the open bar. And, during machine demos on Sept. 12 and Sept. 13, MC Machinery set an industry record by achieving 96 percent beam-time efficiency, with 1,387 parts sorted and only one missed, according to MC Machinery Laser Applications Manager Mike Koch.
Held at Chicago’s McCormick Place Sept. 11 through Sept. 14, FABTECH 2023 attracted more than 40,000 attendees from 80 countries—a 26 percent increase from 2022. Mitsubishi Laser was again a Platinum Sponsor of the premier international metal forming event.
“This year’s event was truly excellent and probably my favorite so far,” said MC Machinery Systems Regional Sales Manager Mike Pellecchia. “We talked to the right customers, and it felt like the right people were kind of working their way through. We connected with new accounts and customers who showed genuine interest in our products, as well as reconnecting with those we’ve worked with in the past. It was a very good mix of people, including enthusiastic students who represent the future of our industry. Overall, it was a very positive experience.”
