The IMTS Conference hosted a webinar entitled, EDM Developments Lead to Advancements, with speakers Pat Crownhart, Sinker EDM Product Manager at MC Machinery Systems Inc., and Eric Brothers, Senior Editor at Aerospace Manufacturing and Design magazine. This webinar discussed the basic principles of EDM processes and new developments in both hardware and software of EDM equipment. These developments are changing the way we use EDM machines and the results that come from EDM machining. Overcoming common misconceptions with a basic understanding of EDM is important when considering this technology to improve machine and shop processes.
