GV Series

A fully customizable, heavy-duty hydraulic shear that can take long workpieces, make thick cuts, and produce consistent results.

If you need a rugged, reliable machine that you and your shop can depend on, one that’s as powerful as it is easy to use, the GV Series is the heavily customizable, heavy-duty smooth operator you’ve been looking for.

Sporting a gap depth of 410 mm. and the capacity to cut materials from 13 to 25+ mm. More in thickness and up to 68 meters long, GV Series shears given operators the freedom to tackle nearly any job. However, they also come with loads of onboard features – like independent hold down control for each hold down, accurate CNC blade movement and a deep throat allowing slit cutting – that work together to consistently deliver the product quality you expect

For superior cuts on materials of superior thicknesses, the GV Series is the superior choice.

ROLLS WITH THE PUNCHES

  • When the only thing you can truly count on is change, you need a machine with flexibility and durability built into every nook and cranny. Everything about GV Series shears—from their adjustable rake angle to their enlarged gap and independent control system—has been designed to take whatever your job shop can throw at them and ensure a high-quality cut on a wide selection of different sheet thicknesses and materials.

BUILT TO YOUR SPECIFICATIONS

  • The GV Series is a lot more than just a reliable, heavy-hitting hydraulic shear. Whatever your requirements, whatever your use case, whatever comes your way, we can help you build a GV Series shear that does what you need it to—no questions asked.

GETS BIG RESULTS OUT OF BIG JOBS

  • Specifically created to handle jobs that other machines can’t touch, these GV Series shears are made from the ground up to deliver consistent, quality results—no matter the size of material you’re working with.

CAPABILITIES:

  • Reliably produces consistent, quality cutting thanks to sturdy, dependable construction
  • Variable angle, vertical cutting rake can handle thicknesses of 25 mm.
  • Easily customized to handle other thickness options on request
  • Large working area and throat size accepts materials up to 6 meters in length, with more options on request

COMPONENTS:

  • Hydraulic variable rake shear in welded steel construction
  • Deep throat (gap), allowing for the cut of sheet plates longer than the blade length
  • CybTouch8 control on a pendent arm
  • Automatic hydraulic partial swing-up of the back gauge during the cut
  • Complete retraction of the back gauge to allow the shearing of sheets or plates longer than the back-gauge reach
  • Automatic or independent hold-down control (without engaging any cut)
  • Internal gear type pump
  • One set of 4 edged blades with excellent shock resistance and wear resistance even when cutting stainless steel. The blade material has a hardness between 53 and 55 HRC
  • Bolsters with ball transfers
  • Foot switch with flexible cable

USER INTERFACE:

  • Machine equipped with Cybelec CybTouch8, with color TFT touch screen, intuitive interface, automatic calculations of the shear functions upon material specifications, quick set up of the machine thanks to the Easy Cut page and large cutting sequences and programs can be stored.
