Put your machines to work.
What Remote Machine Monitoring Changes on Your Floor
Ask most shop owners how many hours their machines ran last month, and you’ll get an estimate based on the schedule and what operators remember.
Remote360® is MC Machinery’s cloud-based machine monitoring platform, created to replace estimations with numbers you can act on.
What sets it apart from generic monitoring tools is the depth of its integration. A universal platform bolted onto a machine reports run state and little else. Remote360® was developed alongside the Mitsubishi machines it monitors, so it reads the values that actually matter for each technology: wire remaining on a wire EDM, burn stability on a sinker, assist gas pressure on a laser.
Trying it also costs nothing. Remote360® is included free for the warranty period on new Mitsubishi equipment, so shops can evaluate the platform on their own floor with their own jobs before committing to anything.
Remote Monitoring for Lasers and EDMs
Manufacturers embracing digital technologies like remote machine monitoring can improve productivity and turnaround time while increasing capacity.
No matter how reliable a machine is, problems can occur. Remote monitoring technology can prevent costly downtime by predicting maintenance needs as well as providing data to help diagnose and fix issues. Even better, all of this can be monitored remotely, complete with alerts that notify off-site personnel of urgent issues.
MC Machinery launched the cloud-based remote360 machine monitoring system in 2014, a foray into the Industrial Internet of Things that has proven invaluable to our laser, wire EDM and sinker EDM customers.
Manufacturing is more data-driven than many realize. The only reliable way to identify performance-impacting problems is through data analytics, which can reveal ways to:
Capacity improvements translate into higher productivity, which in turn boost profitability.
The web-based remote360 application provides real-time access to data including run, stop and idle time. Along with production performance graphing, system alerts provide notifications of problems or extended idle time.
The Benefits of Machine Monitoring With remote360®
Here’s what the platform provides, starting from the day the machine arrives on your floor.
Remote Monitoring in Practice
Here are four situations where remote machine monitoring can change the outcome on the shop floor:

Technical Overview
Remote360® is a cloud-based platform accessible from any web browser, launched in 2014 as MC Machinery’s entry into the Industrial Internet of Things. Machines connect through a secure network connection configured during commissioning. The platform provides real-time dashboards, historical performance graphs, configurable mobile and email alerts, scheduled preventive maintenance tracking, monthly site reporting on run, stop, and idle time, alarm frequency analysis, and remote technician access. User accounts support tiered permissions so operators, managers, and maintenance staff see the data relevant to their roles.
See What Your Machines Have Been Doing All Along
Most shops that adopt remote360® find at least one thing they did not expect: a machine idling more than anyone thought, an alarm recurring weekly that nobody had connected, a maintenance interval that was too long or too short. The data was always there. Our platform makes it visible.
If you’re purchasing new Mitsubishi equipment, remote360® comes free for the warranty period, so there’s a straightforward way to see what it surfaces on your own floor. If you’re running an existing fleet, our team can assess which machines are candidates for retrofit and what the deployment would involve.
Schedule a walkthrough of the platform, ask about adding monitoring to your next machine purchase, or talk with a sales rep about connecting your current fleet.
